Scope of Work

The District is soliciting bids from qualified firms to obtain Third Party Administration (TPA) Services for the Self Funded Workers’ Compensation and Liability Program for the District. Proposals which provide both Workers’ Compensation and Third Party Liability claims administration are required. Third Party Liability claims include public officials, employment practices and police professional liability claims.

The District self-insures its Workers’ Compensation, General and Automobile Liability and physical damage including subrogation, school board leaders errors and omissions, employment practices liability, and police professional claims. The self-insurance program has been in place for over forty years. The District currently contracts with Gallagher Bassett Services, Inc. to administer the claims within the self-insurance program. The District’s Office of Risk and Benefits Management takes an active role in managing claims.
