    Description

    The City of Orlando Procurement and Contracts Division is pleased to announce that, effective July 1, 2026, solicitations will include participation under the Small Business Enterprise (SBE) and Local Business Enterprise (LBE) Preference Program. Details regarding the application of SBE/LBE preferences, participation requirements, and eligibility criteria will be included in the applicable solicitation documents.
     
    The program provides bid and proposal preferences for certified firms and when using certified subcontractors on eligible City procurements and contracting opportunities.
     
    Suppliers interested in participating are encouraged to obtain certification through the City of Orlando Business Development Division and learn more about the Program requirements and benefits. Businesses can also use the City's certified business directory to search for firms that have been certified through the Small and Local Business Enterprise Program.
