The City of Wilton Manors, Florida (City) is seeking bids from qualified licensed Contractors (CONTRACTOR) for an Inline Check Valve Infrastructure Resiliency Program the City will refer to as the Tidal Valve Project. The general location of the proposed work is throughout the City of Wilton Manors. Work includes the installation of inline backflow check valves on the outfall pipes from either a boat or in a selected drainage structure. In addition to the primary activity of the installation of the valves the contractor may be required to remove and replace drainage structures, manhole rings or inlet grates, provide and install small quantities of drainage pipe, provide and install pollution retarding baffles, place site concrete such as inlet collars and aprons, provide restoration in areas of working, including grass and asphalt to match. A person who intends to propose a bid on this contract shall review the Invitation to Bid – Front End Documents or Contact the City of Wilton Manors, Finance Department, phone (954) 390-2171 for additional information. The CONTRACTOR shall be aware that this project is funded by a grant. Additionally, an alternate bid is included with the base bid proposal for additional work that may or may not be included as part of the overall agreement for the Tidal Valve Program.
