    Description

The project is for removal of the all flagged ash trees (blue, pink, and orange flagging) beginning at the “upper” intersection with Davis Rd. for an agreed upon distance, indicated in your bid submission with the maximum distance being 1.8 miles to the “lower” intersection of Davis Rd. Removal will include that stumps shall be not more than six inches in height, all chips shall be removed, and wood left in place such that it is out of the roadway and in a safe area that allows for future roadwork and ditch maintenance. Removal of wood by the contractor is permitted from the parcels indicated on the accompanying map which identifies which landowners have agreed to not retain felled trees. The work includes cutting and stacking logs and chipping or removal of branches as described below. See the map in Appendix I for wood disposal directions for each landowner.
