This installation, equipment, parts, cleaning, repairs, preventative maintenance, and inspections for CO2 refrigeration systems at the Corkscrew Water Treatment Plant and North Lee County Water Treatment Plant are integral to controlling water pH, maintaining water quality, and meeting regulatory standards. Utilities does not seek an alternate system or technology at this time, and thus responses should be limited to only those companies that can provide TOMCO2 Co2 Systems. Intended Single Source: TOMCO2 SYSTEMS COMPANY Justification for Single Source Acquisition: TomCO2 Systems Company is the sole manufacturer of TomCO2 Systems equipment and the sole provider of TomCO2 repair parts and TomCO2 service. TomCO2 Systems has installed a patented (pressurized solution feed) PSF system used to control the pH level of water in the treatment process and possess specialized expertise in the CO2 systems specifically designed for these water treatment plants. Recommended Procurement Approach: For the reason(s) stated above, Lee County Procurement Management intends to utilize the single-source procurement method to purchase from TomCO2 Systems Company for supplying the above.
