    Description

The work generally includes the reconstruction, water, and storm improvements on Eastern Avenue (from the south side of the intersection of Eastern Avenue and Mockingbird Lane to the north side of the intersection of Eastern Avenue and Bordeaux Avenue) approximately 3,500 linear feet. The existing approximately 20 ft wide one-way single lane roadway shall be reconstructed in kind, at the same width as the existing roadway. The proposed paving will be concrete over stabilized subgrade. Intersecting street and alley paving shall be reconstructed to the nearest joint beyond the existing concrete valley gutter or approximately 5 feet of the alley entrance, respectively. The existing sidewalk shall also be reconstructed and confirmed to meet current ADA/PROWAG criteria. Additionally, there will be a small amount of 8-inch waterline replacement beginning approximately at the alley between Livingston Avenue and Southern Avenue and extending north up to approximately Mockingbird Lane (~450 LF). The two existing 3-foot long standard curb inlets at the southern end of the project limits shall be reconstructed as 5-foot long inlets. The Design will meet all current Town standards and NCTCOG/TXDOT where applicable.
