    Invitation: Notice is hereby given for the invitation to bid on the construction of the Street Repairs Project for the Town of Meeker. This project includes the grading and reconstruction of approximately 2,675 square yards of roads. The project is located: on Main Street between Thirteenth St. and Twelfth St; on Cleveland Street between Sixth St. and Fifth St; on Garfield Street between Twelfth St. and Eleventh St; and an alternative location on Twelfth St. between the alley and Main St. The Project Owner is the Town of Meeker. The Project Engineer is Chris Hale, P.E. of Mountain Cross Engineering, Inc. in Glenwood Springs. Specifications: A digital set of plans, specifications, and contract documents may be obtained after April 20th, 2026, on the Town website at https://townofmeeker.org/current-rfps/ Pre-Bid: A mandatory pre-bid meeting will be held at the Meeker Town Hall, 345 Market Street, on Wednesday, April 29th, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. Deadline: Bids will be accepted until Thursday, May 14th at 3:00 pm at which time bids will be opened and read aloud at Meeker Town Hall, 345 Market Street in Meeker, CO 81641. Bids will be awarded by the Board of Trustees at their regularly scheduled meeting on Tuesday, June 2nd at 7:00 pm. Bid Submission: All bid proposals and bid security may be submitted online at bidnetdirect.com/colorado/townofmeeker, or mailed, or hand delivered to 345 Market Street, Meeker, CO 81641. All bids must be sealed and labeled “Street Repairs”. Each bid must be accompanied by a bid bond or a check in the amount of 10% of the bid made payable to The Town of Meeker as bid security, along with 3 references for similar work. Performance and Payment Bonds are required. The successful bidder must maintain workers compensation and general liability insurance in the amount of no less than $1,000,000 during the project. The Town reserves the right to reject or accept any and all bids; to change, add, or amend the specifications; to waive any informalities; and the right to disregard all non-conforming or conditional bids or counter proposals. Each proposal shall be reviewed and considered consistent with the provisions of the Town of Meeker Personnel Policy and Procedures Manual.
