Project Overview:

The Airport has a series of cargo buildings at the end of their useful life. The scope of this project is a core-and-shell 2-story cargo building with associated leasable office space mezzanine and improved sidewalk and landscaping elements. All interior fit-out work to be by future tenant. 

Phase 1 (626.1) Scope includes cargo warehouse space spread across two floors, 28 truck docks, 7 future truck docks, structural accommodations for material handling systems such as an elevating transfer vehicle (ETV), office space with light wells and two parking stalls, both of which are handicap accessible. The warehouse facade is primarily insulated metal panel with glass and translucent polycarbonate with a durable concrete base. The office facade is primarily glass and metal panel with a glass and concrete base. The project is served by two elevators per phase. Prior to occupancy, demolition of building 624 and relocation of some existing infrastructure such as an existing vault and pad-mounted equipment will be performed.

This project will rehabilitate the pavement at Plot 9 and reconfigure parking spots and holding positions to add two additional Group V aircraft parking positions, thereby increasing overall aircraft parking capacity at Plot 9.
  
The scope includes site improvements such as asphalt pavement rehabilitation, concrete pavement installation, incidental utility work, pavement marking, access control system upgrades including new CCTV, and apron lighting improvements.
