    Description

The Office of Parks, Recreation and Historic Preservation (OPRHP) is seeking quotes for the reconstruction of 1,570 lf of trail located within the Old Croton Aqueduct trail system. Work will consist of clearing, widening the trail to 8ft as well as removal of rocks and dirt mounds. Trail will be resurfaced with compacted gravel aggregate material (Ideally a nature pathway mix). Three or more drainage structures must be installed at critical points. Trail approaches will also be surfaced, compacted, and graded to a general thickness of 3-4 inches. The contractor must assess landscape with OPRHP Trails Coordinator to determine the locations of drainage structures; therefore, a site visit is mandatory for this project. Please schedule site visits with Devin DeSantis (845) 370-6802 Devin.desantis@parks.ny.gov, and Steven Oakes (845) 616-5374 Steven.oakes@parks.ny.gov. Additional details regarding this project are available in the Work Scope document provided.
