    Description

    The purpose of this RFP is to select a Vendor who will develop and provide all of the training requirements for credential seekers and holders. The term “training(s)” is defined broadly as content intended to increase applicable knowledge in an identified area leading to mastery of a core competency. Content may be created as a live or recorded webinar, interactive module, written material, or in-person course. Other forms of content will be considered in the proposal. Working under the general direction of OMH, the successful Vendor will work to: Create a curriculum based on the core competencies of the credential to train credential seekers and holders to work with people receiving behavioral health services across the lifespan. Identify and contract with content experts to deliver trainings. Maintain a Learning Management System (LMS) that will host the trainings for the curriculum. Create and maintain the administrative process for issuing certificates for trainings including, but may not be limited to, creating content for OMH’s website, reporting, and providing customer service and support for credential seekers and holders engaging with the training platform. Support between 500 and 1,000 paraprofessionals seeking or renewing the credential each year. Create and administer technical assistance protocols for provider agencies supporting paraprofessionals obtaining the credential and required trainings.
