    Description

    This contract is for eligible purchasers to procure heavy-duty and light/medium-duty buses; accessories; replacement components; replacement subsystems; replacement parts; and obtain services for refurbishing and repowering transit buses through the Washington State Purchasing Cooperative. This Contract and all relevant categories for Transit Buses include the services, accessories, equipment, parts, pieces, consulting, training, etc. required for the operation of the buses for their operational life. This Contract is part of the Washington State Purchasing Cooperative. It will be available for use by all eligible purchasers at their option, including any approved Participant. These Participants can include purchasers from any state. Participants will decide whether the Contract meets their needs and whether they use the Contract to purchase the Goods/Services.This Cooperative contract is considered a State Cooperative Purchasing Schedule under the FAST Act for the use of federal funds. Heavy duty buses are available in 30 ft, 35 ft, 40 ft, 45 ft, and 60 ft models with diesel, compressed natural gas, hybrid, electric, and fuel cell propulsion systems. Light and medium are the body-on-chassis/cutaway style buses that can be configured in a variety of styles and amount of passengers and wheelchairs. Category 1 (aprox. GVWR): 10k-11.5k, Category (aprox. GVWR):12k-12.5k, Category 3 (aprox. GVWR):14k-14.5k, Category 4 (aprox. GVWR): 19.5k, and Category 5 (aprox. GVWR):19.5k+ How to Use this Contract: 1.
