Brief summary of the project
Q (Water replacement): During the Prebid meeting nothing was mentioned about replacing the water lines. Does this need to be figured in the bid as well?
A: The intent of the project is to replace the existing water service from the water meter to where the water line enters the building, including all fittings, excavation, surface repairs, etc., as noted in the ITB, as well as any interior water line repairs/modifications needed to serve the remodeled restroom. The water meter for the facility is located in the alley to the east of the building. No other interior water line repairs or replacements outside of the bathroom remodel scope of work are intended to be included in this ITB.
