    Description

    The City of Ames is soliciting bids from qualified Contractors for tree and stump removal at the Resource Recovery and Recycling Campus, Ames, Iowa. Contractors shall provide a lump sum bid for all costs associated with removing trees and stumps from the site located at 220, 306, 312, 318 and 400 Freel Drive. All tree debris and stumps shall be removed and disposed of offsite in advance of construction of a new Resource Recovery and Recycling Campus. All responses must be submitted before the deadline. No late responses will be reviewed. No bidder may withdraw their bid for at least sixty (60) days after the scheduled closing time for receiving bids. The City of Ames reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive informalities, and to make such awards as it shall deem to be in the best interest of the City.
