Trinity River Authority - General Office Complex Expansion

The Trinity River Authority of Texas (TRA) is soliciting Competitive Sealed Proposals (CSP) for construction of a new General Office Complex located in Arlington, Texas. The Project consists of a new approximately 54,800 square foot general office building and an approximately 13,100 square foot field office building, along with all associated site development and supporting infrastructure.

Work includes, but is not limited to:

• Construction of two new buildings, including structural, architectural, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems

• Mass timber structural system procurement, coordination, and erection

• Underfloor air distribution (UFAD) system coordination with structural and electrical systems

• Site development, including grading, drainage, utilities, paving, and landscaping

• Utility service connections and coordination with local providers

• Quality assurance, testing, and system turnover

The Project requires a high-level of coordination among trades, particularly for integration of mass timber and UFAD systems, as well as sequencing of long-lead materials and early procurement activities.

The Contractor will be selected using a Competitive Sealed Proposal process in accordance with Texas Government Code Chapter 2269, with award based on best value considering qualifications, project approach, schedule, and price.
