Invitation for Bid (IFB) UDOT- Fence Project Solicitation # UDOT260139CN This Invitation for Bids "IFB" is issued in accordance with State of Utah Procurement Code and the Utah Administrative Code. If any provision of this IFB conflicts with the Utah Procurement Code or the Utah Administrative Code, then Utah Procurement Code and then Utah Administrative Code will take precedence. The purpose of this IFB is to enter into a contract with the lowest responsive and responsible bidder to provide and install 48,200 linear feet of Right-of-Way Fence, Type G (Metal Post) with Tortoise Fence, 110 Brace Posts, 8 Right-of-Way Gates (10-foot opening), and 6 Tortoise Fence Step-Overs. This contract includes all labor, equipment, and materials necessary to install the fence as shown in the plans, standard drawing, special provisions, and standard specifications. Project Timeline: The contractor's start date is February 2, 2026, and the completion deadline is April 20, 2026. Failure to complete the contract by April 20, 2026, will result in Liquidated Damages (LD’s) as follows: • $500 per day from April 21, 2026, through May 2, 2026. • $2,500 per day starting May 3, 2026, until the contract is complete. This contract will be awarded to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder. Issuing Procurement Unit, Conducting Procurement Unit, and Solicitation Number The UDOT Procurement Services Division is the issuing procurement unit and Region 4 is the conducting procurement unit for this IFB (referred to as “the State”). The reference number for this IFB is Solicitation #UDOT260139CN. This solicitation number must be referred to on all bids, correspondence, and documentation submitted to the State relating to this IFB.
