    Description

    This is a continuous solicitation at the Astoria Energy II Power Plant in Astoria, Queens, New York, listing to be renewed upon expiry. New York Power Authority Solicitation to furnish and deliver up to 125,000 Barrels of Ultra Low Sulfur Distillate (ULSD) oil with a maximum sulfur content of 15 ppm, typically Ultra Low Sulfur Diesel (ULSD) or Ultra Low Sulfur Heating Oil (ULSHO) to the Astoria Energy LLC Terminal (formerly the Castle Astoria Terminal - Dock Code #368 -US Army Corps of Engineers Waterway Code #02213 - Port series No. 05) located on the right bank of the entrance to Luyster (Steinway) Creek, Astoria, Queens, New York. Delivery must be made by ship or barge in the cargo size(s) specified by NYPA. Oil quality must be in strict compliance with NYPA contract specifications (Colonial Pipeline Grade 62/67, Non-Dyed and Non-Biodiesel). Oil purchases will be made on a spot basis within the date range(s) specified in proposal. Solicitations for qualifications will be accepted on a continuous basis. Seller must include delivery window on their proposals and delivery terms. Interested firms must have a proven financial track record & documented experience in dealing with Ultra Low Sulfur Distillates (ULSD) or (ULSHO) and must meet NYPA's contractual requirements. Supplier must have good/clean rights and title to sell such oil and must be able to provide information to show its financial capability to complete the transaction.
