    Description

    The City of Redlands Parks Division is responsible for maintaining 13 established parks, several trails, and facilities throughout the City. All parks and parking lots close at 9:00 p.m., security services are required to lock restrooms and ensure parking lots are cleared.Contract period is July 1, 2026 to June 30, 2027.Work will consist of traveling to each park within the City of Redlands (locations attached) and perform the following: Lock and Secure all bathrooms at each park 7 days per weeko Brookside Park - 1 bathroomo Martinez Park - 2 bathroomso Crafton Park - 1 bathroomo Ford Park - 2 bathroomso Israel Beal Park - 1 bathroomo Jennie Davis Park - 1 bathroomo Smiley Park - 1 bathroomo Sylvan Park - 3 bathroomso Texonia Park - 1 bathroomo Coyazo Park - 1 bathroom *Clear parking lots and all visitors then close and lock entry gates at the following locations only:o Prospect Park - 1 bathroom + main gate at entranceo Redlands Sports Park - bathroom + parking lot gateo Redlands Skate Park - Skate park gate and parking lot gate (Sylvan Park)o Oakmont Park - 1 gateo Clement Middle School - 1 gateo Orangewood HS - 1 gateThe Contractor shall begin at posted closing time, check and clear restrooms of occupants and secure restroom facilities. Clear parking lots of unauthorized and notify appropriate City contacts or law enforcement if necessary. Lock all gates, doors, and access points as applicable. A documentation of completion of services at each site, such as a log or checklist, is recommended.At all times, while onsite and working, unarmed security guards are to be in uniform and drive vehicle clearly identified as a “security” vehicle.Emergency or Special Event ServiceFrom time to time, the City may request lock-up or re-securing of facilities within a specified timeframe. The City may request extended service hours for City events.Proof of Security background check must be submitted to City for all individuals that will be performing work. This is to be submitted to the City after award of bid.
