    *** Please download the full Statement of Work located in RFP under the documents tab***Unarmed Security Services, RFP No. 26-01826-018Mexican American Opportunity Foundation (MAOF) Unarmed Security Services Contract Term: Three (3) YearsProject OverviewThis contract consists of the provision of professional unarmed security services across multiple MAOF facilities located in California. Services include routine patrol, access control, security monitoring, incident reporting, visitor/client support, alarm response, checkpoint scanning, crowd support, and general protection of MAOF personnel, clients, visitors, property, and facilities.MAOF serves children, families, seniors, low-income households, and other vulnerable community members. Security personnel assigned to MAOF sites must understand that their role extends beyond traditional security presence. Security staff must be capable of interacting professionally, respectfully, and compassionately with MAOF clients and visitors, many of whom may be seeking social services, childcare, employment support, senior services, or other community-based resources.The intent of this contract is to maintain safe, secure, welcoming, and professionally managed facilities; prevent loss, theft, vandalism, unauthorized access, and damage; support emergency preparedness; and ensure consistent security coverage across all assigned locations.The Contractor shall provide all labor, supervision, management, equipment, uniforms, communication devices, reporting systems, checkpoint scanning systems, coordination, and administrative support necessary to fully perform the services described herein. All services shall be performed in compliance with applicable federal, state, and local laws, California licensing requirements, and industry standards, including requirements regulated by the California Bureau of Security and Investigative Services (BSIS). California security guards must meet BSIS registration requirements, including background checks and required training.
