Project work includes: Obtaining proposals from qualified Contractors to provide Uniforms for Police and Fire Departments, in accordance with the terms, conditions, and scope of services of this competitive solicitation.

Firm Qualifications (Points Range 0 – 25)
This section of the Proposal should give a description of the firm, including the size, range of activities, etc. Particular emphasis should be given as to how the firm-wide experience and expertise in the area of providing Uniforms for Police and Fire Departments will be brought to bear on the proposed work.
Qualified Proposers shall be regularly involved in providing Uniforms for Police and Fire Departments in the Tri-county area for a minimum of three (3) years, which shall be demonstrated by listing at least three (3) current and relevant projects/contracts completed within the three-year period and shall provide three (3) related and current business references of providing Uniforms for Police and Fire Departments.
Proposers should provide additional experience and services that could enhance the services they can provide in the CITY.
The Proposer shall provide a narrative which addresses the Scope of Work and shows the Proposer’s understanding of City of Coral Springs needs and requirements for providing Uniforms for Police and Fire Departments.
Project Understanding (Points Range 0 – 20)
Clearly describe the proposed scope of services to meet the requirements in Attachments “A, B & C”, Specifications and Requirements, Specifications for Police Department and Specifications for Fire Department. Include details of your approach and work plans. A brief statement must be included which explains why your approach and plan would be the most effective and beneficial to the City of Coral Springs.

Price Proposal (Points Range 0 – 40)
Submit your signed, firm, price proposal for providing Uniforms for Police and Fire Departments in accordance with your technical proposal and as indicated in the Proposal Form, Pricing Proposal and all the Attachments.
The proposal with the lowest proposed grand total amount will receive forty (40) points. The second lowest proposed amount will be divided into the low proposed amount and multiplied by forty (40) to arrive at a point total, and so on for the other proposals.
(Example is as follows: If the lowest proposed amount is:
$50,000, they will receive 40 points,
if the second is:
$60,000 the calculation is as follows:
$50,000 / $60,000 x 40 = 33 points)
Lowest Proposed Cost ÷ Proposed Cost X Weight (40) = Points
References (Points Range 0 – 10)
Provide a maximum of five (5) fully completed Reference Verification Forms from companies or governmental agencies where goods and services were successfully provided within the past three years. Government references preferred.
2 points will be given to each reference provided that the reference reflects a favorable performance with a max of 10 points awarded.
Local Preference (5 Points)
In accordance with section 2-302(11) and 2-307(g) of the City of Coral Springs Purchasing and Procurement Code a proposer with a physical business location within the municipal boundaries of Coral Springs, Florida shall be granted a preference in the amount of five (5) points with submission of a valid City of Coral Springs business tax license.
