    Description

    State Project Number 78TH0046 Upgrade Unit Ventilators for MCF Togo Building 15 A. The work will be done under one prime contract that includes: General, Electrical, HVAC, Plumbing (heating only), acoustic ceiling, painting, fire alarm, fire stopping, and roofing construction. B. The following summary is a general guide to the scope of work. It should not be construed as a detailed list of work included in the contract. 1. Replace existing ceiling hung unit ventilators and fan coils in like kind including replacement of existing rooftop mounted A/C condensing units. New units will utilize existing outside air intakes. 2. Modifications will include additional ductwork to better distribute air (painted), addition of one rooftop A/C condensing unit (including new roof rails), replacement of fire dampers on a 1-for-1 basis, and replacement of the existing fire alarm system and CO detection. 3. Rooftop fall protection system is also to be installed. 4. Existing boilers and hydronic piping to be reused. Electrical modifications are primarily disconnect and reconnect to new equipment. Plans and Specifications were prepared by WiDSETH, Ryan Erspamer, 126 East Superior Street, Duluth, MN 55802, 218-727-8481. This solicitation includes qualification requirements. Attachment C of the Response Form contains the qualification requirements for the solicitation. Qualification requirements include, but are not limited to: Responding company has completed as a Prime Contractor the work for at least three (3) contracts which have achieved Substantial Completion since June 1, 2021, for construction of General Construction, Mechanical, and Electrical Work. Each of these contracts MUST have had a construction value of $275,000 or greater. Project Manager and Job Superintendent listed EACH has had at least three (3) years of experience with General Contracting with similar in scope and value to this project. Each of these contracts must have had a construction value of $275,000 or greater. This solicitation includes required insurance as recommended for the project’s specifications and scope of work. It is highly encouraged potential responders review Section 00 73 16 Insurance Requirements, as well as AIA A201, Article 11 of the project manual in the solicitation before submitting a response.
