The bids shall be opened and made available for viewing on PennBid™ at 10:00 A.M. local time, Thursday, April 9, 2026.Contract No. 2024-00499 Route 532 Streetscape ImprovementsAll Bid Documents and solicitation details are available at no cost at PennBid™ at https://pennbid.bonfirehub.com. Please note the low bidder is responsible for a fee to PennBid™.Each bid must be accompanied by a bid bond or a certified check in an amount not less than ten percent (10%) of the amount of the bid in the form and subject to the conditions provided in the Instructions to Bidders. No bid may be withdrawn for the period of days stated in the bid form from the date the bids are opened. The successful bidder will be required to furnish satisfactory Performance and Payment Bonds in the amount of 100% each of the Contract amount and a Maintenance Bond in the amount equal to 10% of the contract amount, thereafter required on the specified Bond Forms included in the Contract Documents and Contractor’s Release of Liens.The right is reserved to waive any immaterial defect or informality in the Bid, to reject any or all Bids for any cause whatsoever, to eliminate any item or items from the contract, and to accept any Bid which is deemed most favorable to the Owner, at the time and under the circumstances stipulated.
