    Description

    The State University of New York at Upstate Medical University will receive sealed bids for Project Number. ­­­151197 / 1163 Titled Upstate CH Main MRI CT Replacement until 2 p.m. local time on February 5th at: Delivered to: Mrs. Jeanie Pender/ Mrs. Ivy Moshier Contracts & Campus Purchasing SUNY Upstate Medical University Dr. Sarah Loguen Center, 2nd floor 650 South Salina Street, Room 2050 Syracuse, New York 13202 where such proposals will be publicly opened and read aloud. Proposals may be hand delivered or mailed to the above location and must be received at such time. Scope of work: all necessary labor, materials, and equipment for the renovation of approximately 3,425 square feet on the first floor of the Upstate Community Campus to replace a Level 1 existing ED Xray machine and update the finishes in the room, create new Level 1 imaging spaces including an MRI suite including a patient holding area, two CT rooms with shared control room, CT patient prep room, radiology reading room, women’s and men’s locker rooms, staff toilet rooms, and other building and staff support spaces under Article 28 with the NYS Department of Health. This work includes but is not limited to selective demolition, hazardous material abatement, general construction, structural, mechanical, electrical, HVAC, plumbing, sprinklers, and coordination with new imaging equipment which will be supplied by others. There will be associated MEP work in the basement and on the roof, including a new chiller on the roof. The roof was recently replaced and is currently under warranty and any work on roof must not void the existing warranty. This will be a multi-phase project as shown in the documents. All work on this Contract is to be completed within 240 calendar days after the date of the Notice to Proceed. Complete sets of Contract Documents for bidding may be examined free of charge at the campus and at the following locations. SUNY Upstate, Design and Construction, 650 South Salina Street, 2nd floor, Syracuse, NY 13202. Complete sets of Contract Documents for bidding may ONLY be obtained from: Plan and Print Systems, INC will print and distribute sets of plans & drawings. Section 143 of the State Finance Law requires payment of a deposit to receive these documents. Accordingly, a deposit check of $49.99 made payable to SUNY Upstate Medical University, is required. Deposits less than $50.00 are nonrefundable. Deposits will be waived for certified Minority and Women Owned and Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Businesses. (Under SFL 143 the campus has the option to waive the deposit requirement where bid documents “are made available and obtained electronically or in any non-paper form by the agency”. If the campus wishes to waive the deposit for all bidders, delete the above paragraph). No pre-bid conference and project walk-through will be held. No individual walk‑throughs will be provided. Photographs of the site or a video walk though can be made available in an addendum.
