    Description

    The Hillsborough County Aviation Authority (Authority), an independent special district, issues this Request for Information (RFI) to solicit information (Response) from prospective companies or individuals (Respondents) who may be interested in providing a premium customer service or concierge ground transportation product in the Short Term Parking Garage at Tampa International Airport (Airport).

     

    The Authority does not guarantee that a contract will be awarded as a result of this RFI, nor does the Authority guarantee that a formal solicitation such as a Request for Proposal (RFP), Invitation to Bid (ITB) or other procurement process will be issued as a result of this RFI.

    Background

    The Authority currently has a Temporary Concession Contract for Use of Short Term Parking Garage Parking Spaces for Premium Customer Service Product with AvisBudget Car Rental, LLC,  for the use of up to 15 parking spaces for their AvisFirst product.

    • Reviewing Responses

      It is the intent of the Authority to solicit information from Respondents to determine the level of interest, availability, and market opinion for utilizing the Use of Short-Term Parking Garage based on the information provided by Respondents in the RFI Form.

    • Costs of Preparation and Submission

      All costs associated with preparing and delivering a Response and other information to this RFI will be borne entirely by the Respondent. The Authority will not compensate the Respondent for any expenses incurred by the Respondent as a result of this RFI process.

    • RFI Opening

      There will be no formal opening for this RFI. Response are due no later than the date and time listed in the Timeline Section.

    • Question and Clarifications

      All questions and clarifications concerning the Solicitation documents, such as discrepancies, omissions and exceptions to any term or condition, must be submitted in writing to the Procurement Agent prior to the Question Deadline as stated in the Timeline Section.
