    Purpose Venture Academy is adding an approximately 12,000 square foot pre-engineered metal building Gym adjacent to the existing High School building as well as remodeling a portion of the existing gym to create 2 new classrooms. The project should reach substantial completion by August, 2027. New Gym construction will begin while school is in session, the interior classroom remodel will begin on or around May 2027.Project Description Location - 508 N 1500 W, Marriott-Slaterville, UT 84404Gym Addition The gym addition will be approximately 14,000 sq ft (100’ x 120’ large space, and 20’ x 100’ attached lower ceiling space) and will include: - One full-size regulation basketball court - 6–8 rows of retractable bleachers along one side - An attached lower-height add-on (approximately 20’ x 100’) including: - Entry vestibule - Approximately three (3) restrooms - Custodial closet - Three (3) large storage rooms accessible from the gym (one of these rooms could be converted to dressing room stalls, no showers).Existing Gym Remodel (Classrooms) A portion of the existing gym (CMU construction) will be remodeled to create two (2) classrooms: - Approximately 33’ x 55’ area on the south end of the existing gym - Classrooms will be vertically stacked (two-story configuration) - Access to the second-floor classroom will utilize existing upper-level walkways and elevator. - A new exterior egress stair is required on the west side of the building - The remaining north portion of the gym (approx. 60’ x 55’) will remain in use as an auxiliary gym space
