Contract Scope This Contract provides for the purchase of pesticides used to manage vegetation along Washington Highways, forestry areas, nurseries or other lands managed by the state or municipalities. Categories The contract is awarded by 2 categories. Category 1: Tested Products (Products that have been assessed and approved for use by WSDOT) Category 2: Limited Use Products (Products listed under Category 2 may still be available for purchase by WSDOT to use a Category 2 product. WSDOT must work with their State Roadside Landscape Asset Manager and Section for approval.) Restrictions: This contract contains chemicals cited by Californias Prop 65, agencies should use their judgement on purchasing such products. How to Use this Contract 1. Mgt. reference identifies the contract under which Vendors must issue quotes/estimate/proposals for requested products. 2. Look at the Pricing/Ordering sheet, as different Contractors are awarded differing products on contract. 4. Reference DES Contract No. 02917 must be referenced on Purchase Order. 5.
