    Description

    The City University of New York (CUNY), on behalf of Facilities Shared Services (FSS), a division of Facilities Planning, Construction and Management (FPCM), is soliciting sealed bids from qualified contractors to provide all labor, materials, equipment, supervision, and related services necessary to perform comprehensive maintenance, inspection, testing, repair, and emergency response services for vertical transportation systems, including elevators, escalators, wheelchair lifts, dumbwaiters, and other related equipment, as specified in this Invitation for Bids (IFB). This solicitation is limited to the North and Midtown Facilities Shared Services Hubs. The campuses included within these Hubs are identified in the Scope of Work and associated attachments. Any purchases resulting from this advertisement shall be subject to New York State Appendix A and the terms and conditions of the CUNY Purchase Order and/or a CUNY agreement. The Procurement Lobbying Act (PLA) Applies to this Solicitation. The restricted period has begun. Under the requirements of the Procurement Lobbying Act (PLA), all communications regarding advertised projects are to be directed to the Designated Contacts identified below. Communication with respect to this public solicitation initiated by or on behalf of an interested vendor to anyone other than the Designated Contacts may constitute an “impermissible contact” under NYS law and could result in disqualification of that vendor.
