    CITY OF EAST PROVIDENCE DEPARTMENT OF PLANNING & ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS EP25/26-011 VETERAN’S SERVICES AND SUPPORT UTILIZATION OF CITY OWNED PROPERTY BID OPENING WENDESDAY, JUNE 17, 2026, AT 11:00AM ADVERTISEMENT The City of East Providence is seeking formal proposals from qualified organizations to lease, manage, and utilize the City-owned property located at 47 Payette Street, East Providence, RI. The property is a municipal asset configured as a single-family home. The City's core objective is to enter into a long-term lease agreement with a dedicated veteran services organization that can maximize this asset to support East Providence veterans. To fulfill this civic intent, the selected organization must utilize the property to provide transitional housing and comprehensive case management with wrap-around services for veterans in need. Specifications and plans may be downloaded from the City's website at https://eastprovidenceri.gov/rfp One (1) original, one (1) copy and one (1) Thumb Drive of the proposal shall be submitted in one (1) sealed envelope to East Providence City Hall, Controllers Office, Room 103, Attn: Jessica Lamprey, Procurement Specialist, 145 Taunton Ave., East Providence, RI 02914 no later than WENDESDAY, JUNE 17, 2026, AT 11:00AM. The bids will be publicly opened and recorded on the same day in Conference Room A at East Providence City Hall, 145 Taunton Avenue, East Providence. Bids received with a time of 11:01 AM or later will be rejected.
