    The purpose of this RFP is to secure a qualified partner to implement a comprehensive School Violence Prevention (SVP) program funded by NYSED’s Extended School Day/School Violence Prevention Grant in four RCSD stand-alone middle schools. The primary objective is to integrate evidence-based safety and mental health initiatives into the daily school environment to foster a safe and supportive school climate throughout the five-year grant term. We seek a vendor to implement (in-person) universal and targeted violence prevention programs including: Proactive violence prevention strategies such as conflict resolution, peer mediation, restorative practices, and anti-violence education. Crisis response interventions for students at higher risk. Trauma informed support for students affected by community violence. Wrap around services that connect the school, home and broader community. Final award and resulting contract amount are contingent upon grant award(s) and approval.
