    Description

    Oconee County is seeking to establish an annual contract with a company interested in providing the collection & disposal of solid waste and recyclable materials from the County's collection sites, County facilities and schools. The initial contract term will be for one (1) year starting July 1, 2026 followed by four (4) one-year renewal options. Please see Section II of the bid documents for full Scope of Services. All proposals will be received by the Finance Department electronically through BidNet Direct at www.bidnetdirect.com//oconeecounty on or before 10:00 am on May 21, 2026. All submitted responses will be electronically stamped at the time and date when all documents are uploaded and received. Any proposals received after the established deadline will be deemed late and will not be considered. Physical proposals will not be accepted. Questions regarding technical specifications clarification or interpretation of this RFP must be submitted electronically via BidNet Direct www.bidnetdirect.com//oconeecounty and shall be submitted no later than 5:00 pm on May 11, 2026.
