    The City of Pomona Water Resources Department is seeking the purchase of motor control centers (MCCs) for installation at four (4) water production facilities: Booster Station No. 8 (B-8), Booster Station No. 12 (B-12), Production Well No. 6 (W-6), and Production Well No. 34 (W-34). All products must be new and unused. The MCCs shall be fully equipped as described herein and in accordance with the included project plans and specifications. Failure to meet delivery requirements may result in forfeiture of this contract. The City retains the right to negotiate with the next lowest bidder if the vendor cannot supply parts in the time specified or in an emergency.The successful bidder must be able to demonstrate the following qualifications and experience:- Minimum of five (5) years of continuous experience in MCC and programmable logic control (PLC) in-house fabrication.- Experience with municipal and/or water/wastewater facilities.- References for at least three (3) successfully completed projects of similar scope and fee in the last five (5) years.The successful bidder must be able to provide the following support services:- Cabinet design support and configuration coordination with the City’s design engineer.- Regional service presence (within 50 miles) for commissioning support and troubleshooting services.- Provide O&M manuals.- Repair and upgrade services. Notes: The contract period shall be for two (2) years commencing upon approval by the City of Pomona City Council. Special Notices: DO NOT REGISTER FOR THIS SOLICITATION THROUGH A THIRD PARTY OTHER THAN PLANETBIDS. BIDDERS MUST BE LISTED ON THE CITY OF POMONA'S "PROSPECTIVE BIDDERS LIST" ON PLANETBIDS IN ORDER TO PARTICIPATE IN THIS BID. IF BIDDERS FAIL TO REGISTER WITH PLANETBIDS PRIOR TO SUBMITTING A RESPONSE, THE CITY SHALL IMMEDIATELY REJECT ANY RESPONSE YOU SUBMIT IN REFERENCE TO THIS SOLICITATION.Bidders must be listed on the city of Pomona’s "prospective bidders list" on PlanetBids in order to participate in this bid.
