The following is a summary only and does not replace the full Request for Proposals. The City of Chino Hills' Water System consists of (9) wells and (11) boosters which may occasionally require evaluation and repair. This project is to provide annual Maintenance and Repair services for the City of Chino Hills' wells, pumps, boosters, and electric motor assemblies, on an on-call, as-needed, time-and-materials basis for a period of three years with the option for two additional single year extensions. Project tasks shall include, but are not necessarily limited to, those items noted below. If the contractor feels that additional tasks are warranted, they must be clearly identified in the contractor's proposal. The Contractor shall furnish all material, labor, equipment, and supervision to perform the maintenance and repair of well, booster pumps, and hydro-pneumatic pumps at various locations throughout the City of Chino Hills' Water Division's range as requested by the City. The Contractor shall perform such work in a thorough and professional manner. Work will be contracted on a time-and-materials basis. The contractor shall secure the well site and its equipment at all times throughout the duration of work. The contractor is also responsible for discharging of treated water after rehabilitation of well into an appropriate drainage system in a manner that complies with NPDES regulations and permits.
