    Description

    The work shall include, but is not limited to, curb ramp upgrades, lowering and raising of utilities, monument perpetuation, pulverize HMA and base to a depth of 13.5 inches, introducing lime cement treatment, placement of HMA base and surface course, sidewalks, and striping. Construction site environmental compliance. Contractor to provide all necessary work plans, permits, and inspections necessary, all as shown on the plans and/or as specified herein. Project is to be completed within ninety (90) WORKING days from the date specified in the issuance of the Notice to Proceed. The Contractor shall pay to the City of El Paso de Robles the sum of FIVE HUNDRED DOLLARS ($500.00), for each and every CALENDAR day’s delay in finishing the work in excess of the working day completion time. Please note: Bid Item No. 4 is a lump sum bid that the City will compensate contractor to coordinate construction work at the tire shop on 30th Street. The business needs access for their customers Monday through Friday from 6AM to 5PM. Contractor to develop a construction staging plan, in collaboration with the business owner, to their satisfaction, to complete the work in front of the business with minimum disruption. Staging plan to be submitted to the City and business owners for approval prior to the work starting. Bid Item No. 18 is a lump sum bid to pothole all existing utilities prior to work. The purpose of potholing is to identify any potential conflict with the location of these utilities (vertical) with the depth of pulverization. Contractor to notify the City of any potential conflict with pulverization. ENGINEER'S ESTIMATE $4,100,000
