    The objective of the project is to provide monthly elevator maintenance and as-needed repair for elevators located at various Wastewater Enterprise facilities and at the Southeast Community Centers. Work may also include modernization of elevators. The work is to be performed in San Francisco, California.
     

    Bid discounts may be applied in accordance with San Francisco Administrative Code Chapter 14B - Rules and Regulations, and Section 2.01 of CMD Attachment 1. There is no Local Business Enterprise (LBE) Subcontracting Participation Requirement for Contract No. WW-782R2. Please contact
    LBEcert@sfgov.org  for information about Chapter 14B LBE Program and how to become certified as an LBE.


    Interested Bidders were encouraged to attend by remote means a teleconference pre-bid and contractor networking conference held on 3/25/2026 at 10:00 A.M. and the optional site inspection held on 3/26/2026 at 9:00 A.M. These meetings will not be held again.


    SFPUC encourages Bidders to complete the Safety Prequalification Web Form at https://www.sfpuc.gov/construction-contracts/contract-opportunities-payments/prequalify-construction  as soon as possible in accordance with Section 00 21 13 – Instructions to Bidders. However, Bidders must complete the Safety Prequalification Web Form no later than the date of Bid opening. Bidders are required to pass the Safety Prequalification prior to SFPUC considering their bid submission complete. SFPUC will notify Bidders that have passed the Safety Prequalification prior to or on the date of Bid opening. Refer to Section 00 21 13 – Instructions to Bidders, “Bidder Qualifications” and the website listed above for additional information.


    A Class “C-11” California Contractors License is required to bid. Furthermore, each listed subcontractor must possess appropriate active licenses for the work each subcontractor will be performing.
