NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the County of Yolo will receive sealed bids in accordance with the provisions of the Public Contract Code from contractors licensed for the furnishing of all labor, materials, equipment, transportation, mobilization, demobilization, permitting, disposal and any other required services for the performance of the following Work: Yolo County Airport Runway 16-34 Rehabilitation Project.
The Project is comprised of surface treating Runway 16-34 and the taxiway connectors. This treatment is anticipated to consist of:
• Removal of existing pavement markings, and foreign substances/ contaminants that would affect the bond of a seal coat to the existing pavement
• Routing and sealing of existing cracks. Full-depth repair of isolated sections of pavement.
• Application of seal coat, using materials that meet FAA guidance.
• Application of pavement markings
The extent of work is identified in the Technical Specifications Volume II.
A mandatory pre-bid conference is scheduled for 11:00am on Thursday May 14, 2026, at the project site located at:
25170 Aviation Avenue, Davis, CA 95616, in the Davis Flight Support conference room.
