    The City of Renton is Soliciting Bids from the MRSC Small Works Roster for qualified and licensed Contractors to perform interior renovations at Renton City Hall located at 1055 S Grady Way, Renton, WA 98057.Refer to Full Call for Bid Document "CFB Renton City Hall 1st and 7th Floor Renovation.pdf" in posting's supporting documents for full project details, requirements, and terms.SCOPE OF WORK: The selected Contractor shall provide all labor, materials, equipment, and supervision necessary to perform interior renovations at Renton City Hall. This Call for Bids includes two separate Bid Scopes. The City reserves the right to award either, both, or neither Bid Scopes.1 - Base Bid Scope – Renton City Hall, 7th FloorAll work for this Bid Scope must be performed between August 18th and August 31st, 2026, during day shift hours unless otherwise allowed by the City.Prepare and repaint walls, interior glazing trim, door frames, drywall soffit, and handrail in designated areas. Patch and repair existing wall surfaces as required to produce smooth, paint ready finish free of visible defects. Wall, Trim, and Frame paint color to be determined by City. Paint Color will include a standard wall color, accent wall colors, and a doorway and interior window trim color. Existing baseboards and flooring shall be protected in place.2 - Add Alternate Bid Scope – Renton City Hall, 1st FloorAll work for this Bid Scope will be constrained to night shift hours (7 pm to 4 am) and all work for this Bid Scope must be performed between August 18th and September 25th, 2026 unless otherwise allowed by the City. Once work has commenced, the Contractor shall prosecute the work continuously and diligently.Work area is an office space that remains in continuous use by the Renton Police Department. All common areas and walkways must remain unobstructed to ensure City staff have continuous access throughout the office space.Remove and dispose of existing carpet and replace with Owner Furnished Carpet Tiles. Carpet Tiles: Shaw Commercial, Model No. H‑12777 Charcoal. Contractor shall furnish Tile Adhesive and any other materials needed to install the new carpet. Replace existing vinyl cove bases with new vinyl cove base matching the existing height, profile, color, and material. Carpet removal and new carpet installation shall be sequenced to minimize area left without finished flooring at the end of each shift.Remove and dispose of existing walk-off carpet by exterior side door and replace with new. New Walk Off Carpet will be Furnished by the City. Contractor shall furnish Tile Adhesive and any other materials needed to install the new carpet. Replace existing vinyl cove bases with new vinyl cove base matching the existing height, profile, color, and material.Prepare and repaint designated walls, door frames, and interior glazing trims. Patch and repair existing wall surfaces as required to produce smooth, paint ready finish free of visible defects. Walls to be painted White with accent walls matching adjacent office areas. Door and window trim color to be determined by City.Sand and refinish existing wall-mounted wood handrail and brackets to restore a uniform appearance and finish. Handrail to be removed and restored offsite unless separately approved by City to restore in place.
