The California Air National Guard, 146th Airlift Wing (146th AW) Channel Islands ANG Station, Port Hueneme has a requirement entitled: 146 CE Fire Extinguisher Inspection & Maintenance Services.
146th AW intends to solicit quotes from at least three (3) interested sources in accordance with RFO FAR 12.201 simplified procedures. This will be 100% set-aside for a Small Business competition that results in award of one (1) firm-fixed price contract for a base plus four (4) option years.
The general scope of services requires the Contractor to perform required annual inspections and 6-year maintenance services on a total of 234 various sized mounted, portable, fixed, and wheeled-type (125 lb.) extinguishers in accordance with current National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) 10 Standards. The Contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, supervision, and quality control necessary to complete these services. The place of performance is the California Air National Guard Station, 146th Airlift Wing Channel Islands, 100 Mulcahey Dr, Port Hueneme, California.
The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this project is 811310 Commercial and Industrial Machinery and Equipment (except Auto and Electronic) Repair and Maintenance with a small business size standard of $12.5 Million.
This Sources Sought/Presolicitation Notice is not a Request for Quote (RFQ), Request for Proposal (RFP), or an Invitation for Bid (IFB). This notice is published for this proposed action in accordance with RFO FAR 5.101(a). The 146 CE Fire Extinguisher Inspection and Maintenance Services performance work statement will be detailed in the RFQ when distributed. Quotes will be due no less than 10 days from the date the solicitation is issued. The definitive due date and time will be stated in the solicitation and any associated amendments that may be issued.
