146 MXG 150LB FIRE EXTINGUISHER INSPECTION & MAINTENANCE SERVICES

The California Air National Guard, 146th Airlift Wing (146th AW) Channel Islands ANG Station, Port Hueneme has a requirement entitled: 146 MXG 150lb Fire Extinguisher Inspection & Maintenance Services.

146th AW intends to solicit quotes from at least three (3) interested sources in accordance with FAR Overhaul 12.201 simplified procedures.  This will be 100% set-aside for a Small Business competition that results in award of one (1) firm-fixed-price contract. 

The general scope of services requires the Contractor to perform required six (6) and twelve (12)-year inspection, maintenance, and repair of 150 lb. wheeled Halon 1211 fire extinguishers in accordance with current National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) 10 Standards.  The Contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, supervision, and quality control necessary to complete these services for twenty (20) 150 lb. wheeled Halon 1211 fire extinguishers over a maximum two-month period of performance intended to begin May 2026.  The place of performance is the California Air National Guard Station, 146th Airlift Wing Channel Islands, 100 Mulcahey Dr, Port Hueneme, California.

The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this project is 811310 Commercial and Industrial Machinery and Equipment (except Auto and Electronic) Repair and Maintenance with a small business size standard of $12.5 Million.

This Sources Sought/Presolicitation Notice is not a Request for Quote (RFQ), Request for Proposal (RFP), or an Invitation for Bid (IFB).  This notice is published for this proposed action in accordance with FAR Overhaul 5.101(a).  The 146 MXG 150lb Fire Extinguisher Inspection and Maintenance Services performance work statement will be detailed in the RFQ when distributed.  Quotes will be due no less than 15 days from the date the solicitation is issued.  The definitive due date and time will be stated in the solicitation and any associated amendments that may be issued.

No CDs or hard copies of the solicitation will be available.  Interested offerors are responsible for checking https://SAM.gov for any update(s) to this Notice.  The Government is not responsible for any loss of Internet connectivity or for any bidder’s inability to access the document posted at the above referenced website.
