15 PERSON SHUTTLE BUS

INTRODUCTION:

This is a Sources Sought issued for conducting market research and identifying potential sources. This is NOT a Request for Proposal (RFP), Request for Quote (RFQ), or an Invitation for Bid (IFB). No solicitation is being issued at this time, and this notice shall not be construed as a commitment by the Government to issue a solicitation or ultimately award a contract.

The purpose of this notice is to identify potential vendors, including small businesses, capable of providing one (1) 15 person shuttle bus as described below. 

15 person shuttle bus with the following characteristics:
 
Capacity - 15 persons total (14 passengers plus 1 driver).
Climate Control - Air conditioning system capable of cooling the entire vehicle. The vehicle must be equipped with an engine-driven, dual-compressor auxiliary air conditioning system to ensure adequate cooling.
Accessibility - Standard access (wheelchair lift and ADA-compliant floor plan are not required).
Performance/Chassis - Configured for regular travel on standard highways.
Towing Capacity - The vehicle must meet standard towing capacity requirements for its vehicle class.
Towing Equipment - A factory-installed, integrated trailer brake controller must be included in the towing package.
Storage Configuration - Dedicated rear compartment storage. The rear storage area must be fully separated from the passenger cabin by a structural floor-to-ceiling partition wall.
Fuel System - The vehicle's engine must be configured to operate on standard gasoline.

SUBMISSION INSTRUCTIONS: 

Interested parties capable of providing the aforementioned item are requested to submit a capability statement. The statement must include the following information:

Company Information: Company Name, Address, CAGE Code, and SAM Unique Entity ID (UEI).

Point of Contact: Name, Title, Phone Number, and Email Address.

Business Size/Socioeconomic Status: Indicate business size standard and any applicable socioeconomic categories (e.g., Small Business, 8(a), HUBZone, SDVOSB, WOSB) under the applicable NAICS code.

Availability/Lead Time: Estimated delivery schedule or lead time for the required item.
