The Department of Veterans Affairs Central Texas Veterans Health Care System (CTVJSC) Waco Campus Engineering Service in Waco, Texas intends to award a contract for a Mini Excavator. The Government is conducting a market survey to help determine the availability and technical capability of qualified service-disabled veteran-owned small businesses, veteran-owned small businesses, small businesses, HUBZone small businesses and/or other large businesses capable of serving the needs identified below. This notice of intent is for open market as well as Federal Supply Schedule items. The purpose of this notice is to gain knowledge of potential qualified sources and their size classification/ socioeconomic status (service-disabled veteran owned small business, veteran owned small business, women owned small business, HUB Zone, 8(a), small business or large business), relative to NAICS 333120 with a size standard of 1250 Employees. Responses to this notice will be used by the Government to make appropriate acquisition decisions. Your responses to the information requested will assist the Government in determining the appropriate acquisition method, including whether a set-aside is possible. STATEMENT OF WORK 1.0 Introduction / Background The Central Texas Veterans Health Care System (CTVHCS), Waco Campus, requires the procurement of one (1) Mini Excavator to support Engineering Service operations. The equipment is needed to conduct essential earthmoving, excavation, and materials-handling activities required for maintenance, construction support, and infrastructure work across the facility. 2.0 Objective The objective of this requirement is to acquire a reliable, high performance Mini Excavator that meets all operational, safety, and technical needs of the Waco Campus Engineering Service. 3.0 Scope of Work The Contractor shall furnish all equipment, materials, manuals, and labor necessary to provide one (1) fully functional Mini Excavator, including operator and service training. Warranty terms must be included with the equipment upon delivery. 7.0 Security Requirements This acquisition does not involve VA information systems or sensitive data. Certification and Accreditation (C&A) requirements do not apply, and no security Accreditation Package is required.
