    Description

AOC requires the procurement of Two new PT6A-60A Engines to support the King Air 350/360 aircraft fleet, ensuring long-term fleet sustainability and alignment with the Aircraft Allocation Plan (AAP). AOC also requires the procurement of Two PT6A-27 Overhauled Engine with Core Exchanges to support the DHC-6 Twin Otter aircraft fleet, ensuring long-term fleet sustainability and alignment with the Aircraft Allocation Plan (AAP).

    Requirements

NOAA's King Air aircraft support the FY25 Aircraft Allocation Plan (AAP), which has a direct impact on protecting life and property. At present, AOC does not have any spare PT6A-60A engine available in its inventory. To ensure mission continuity, fleet sustainability, and minimize the risk of aircraft downtime due to scheduled or unscheduled maintenance, AOC requires the procurement of at least two (2) overhauled PT6A-60A engines. Establishing engine availability is critical to preventing potential part shortages and delays that could impact NOAA’s operational readiness. NOAA's Twin Otter aircraft support the FY25 Aircraft Allocation Plan (AAP), which has a direct impact on protecting life and property. To maintain operational readiness and ensure fleet sustainability, AOC requires two (2) additional overhauled PT6A-27 engines (0 TSO) through core exchange. This replenishment is essential to support both scheduled and unscheduled engine maintenance events. A lack of spare engines poses a significant risk to mission capability and may result in extended aircraft downtime, delaying critical NOAA operations.

AOC requires a vendor capable of supplying two newly overhauled PT6A-60A and newly overhauled PT6A-27 engines (0 hours Time Since Overhaul) on a core exchange basis engines, with delivery required within six (6) months of contract award—preferably as soon as practical. The engines will be shipped to AOC in Lakeland, FL, for on-site inventory storage to support scheduled and unscheduled maintenance.

    Delivery Date
