NAVSUP WSS is seeking eligible contractors to furnish effort including labor, material, and facilities as may be required to evaluate, repair, modify, and/or procure the items as specified. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. The Government intends to solicit for the repair or procurement of various items listed to A condition status. The Government does not possess or cannot provide the data necessary to perform the required repairs or manufacture of the item. NIINs are as follows: 012307817 (repair / spare) 012308168 (repair only) 012335483 (repair / spare) 012335487 (repair / spare) 015487744 (repair / spare) 015487747 (repair / spare) One or more of the items under this acquisition is subject to the Free Trade Agreements Act and/or the World Trade Organization Government Procurement Agreement and Free Trade Agreements. The time required for approval of a new source is normally such that an award cannot be delayed pending approval of a new source. If you are not an approved source, you must submit, together with your proposal, the information detailed in the NAVSUP WSS Source Approval Process (SAR) Brochure - Maritime. All responsible sources may identify their interest and provide capability statements in response to this notice. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals; however, all responses received within 15 days after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Approval of a source is required. WSS will not delay award while source approval is pending. This notice serves as the pre-solicitation / synopsis notice for a Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA) consisting of 5 base years and will support the repair and procurement of the Gas Turbine system that supports the fleet’s mission.
