3D MEDICAL APPLICATIONS CENTER - NOTICE OF INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE

The Defense Health Agency Contracting Activity (DHACA) on behalf of the 3DMAC at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center (WRNMMC) in Bethesda, MD, intends to award a firm fixed price contract on a sole source basis to 3D Systems, 5381 South Alkire Circle, Littleton, CO 80127.

The anticipated award will be made under the statutory authority permitting Other than Full and Open Competition, Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.103-1 (b)(c)(i) Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. The award is essential to support the PEEK Cranial device and Custom Ridge Augmentation Matrix (CTRAM) Device as part of the FDA 510(k) clearance process at WRNMMC.

The primary North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 622110 - General Medical And Surgical Hospitals.

THIS IS A NOTICE OF INTENT, NOT A REQUEST FOR QUOTATIONS. No solicitation is available. Interested parties may identify their interest and submit a capabilities statement demonstrating their ability to meet this requirement. A determination by the Government not to compete this action based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
