RFQ 36C24826Q0404 QUESTIONS & RESPONSES Q1. Can we schedule a site visit to review the installation and electrical scope? A1. Yes. Site visit is set for 04.06/2026. Q2. Are you open to an equipment-only bid (including commissioning)? A2. No. Install and commissioning equipment must be included. Q3. The specs call for redundancy can you confirm there will be two compressors each for the dental clinic and the hospital lab? A3. Yes. The minimum, properly sized compressors would require at the least two compressors on the packaged unit. This does not mean two completely separate packages. This redundancy is to meet NFPA99 5.1.3.6.3.9 (B). Q4. Do you plan to have the tanks installed on the pad as well, or just the compressors? A4. Tanks and Air Dryer assemblies will need to be mounted directly to the existing equipment pad. Q5. Can we get detailed pictures of the existing unit along with the room where it is installed? A5. See attached pictures. This question can be answered at the site visit to see other possible limitations such as elevator sizes and any other limitations. Q6. May we know in detail what is considered as MUST be oil and moisture free? A6. The compressors shall be belt or direct driven oil-less rotary screw or rotary scroll, single stage, air-cooled construction. The compressor will need no oil needed for operation. Oilless or Oil Free reciprocating piston systems will not meet the requirement. Q7. Must provide clean medical grade air? A7. Specifics for Medical Air can be found in (NFPA) National Fire Protection Code 99 2018 in 5.1.3.6. Q8. I need to review pictures of your current compressed air system and the room where it is located. A8. See attached pictures. This question can be answered at the site visit to see other possible limitations such as elevator sizes and any other limitations. Q9. Provide the manufacturer p/n for the compressors currently being used by the Orlando VA. A9. - Current Dental Compressor: Powerex MPT1508S5122708 - Current Hospital Lab/SPS Compressor: Powerex MTD0504S5122708
