46--CA-COLEMAN NFH-QUAD BLOCK OZONE SOLE SOURCE JUSTIFICATION

The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, Coleman National Fish Hatchery, intends to award a firm-fixed-price sole source contract under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b)(1)(i) to Pinnacle Ozone Solutions, LLC, for the procurement of three (3) Gen 3 QuadBlock® ozone generator cell blocks. These components are proprietary to Pinnacle and are the only known compatible replacements for the existing ozone disinfection system currently in use at the hatchery.

The Gen 3 QuadBlock® is a patented, modular ozone generation unit that integrates seamlessly with the existing Pinnacle ozone system. It is essential for maintaining water quality standards necessary for the rearing of multiple fish species, including Fall-run Chinook Salmon and Steelhead Trout. No other manufacturer or vendor is authorized to produce or distribute these components.
