The ILEAD intends to purchase HAIVISION s Brand Name or Equal, Video streaming Encoder equipment to upgrade the current system. The Program Contracting Activity Central (PCAC) Services 1 Team intends to issue a brand name or equal solicitation to HAIVISION s Authorized Distributors/Dealers requesting video streaming encoder equipment identified in the attached Product Description document. This procurement is for a 100% Small Business Set Aside, Sole Source (Brand Name or Equal) Justification in accordance with FAR 13.501(a), where acquisitions conducted under Simplified Acquisition Procedures are exempt from the requirements of FAR Part 6, but still require a justification using the format of FAR 6.303-2. The NAICS code for this procurement is 334220 and the Small Business Administration Size Standard is 1,250 employees. This notice of intent to is not a request for competitive quotes. No solicitation document is available, and telephone requests will not be accepted. However, any responsible source who believes it is capable of meeting the requirements may submit a quotation with manufacturer cut sheets, which may be considered by the agency, only if received by the closing date and time of this notice. Responses received will be evaluated; however, a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses received to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
