This requirement is for two (2) Arthrex Sucker Shavers for orthopedic surgeries in the operating room. The result of this market research will contribute to determining the method of procurement. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code assigned to this procurement is 339112 - Surgical and Medical Instrument Manufacturing. This is a request for information and sources only, which may or may not lead to a future solicitation! This is not a solicitation. This request for capability information does not constitute a request for proposals; submission of any information in response to this market survey is purely voluntary; the government assumes no financial responsibility for any costs incurred. Contractor shall provide all labor, parts, supplies and equipment necessary to perform HAND CONTROL SUCKER SHAVERS. Requirements shall include but are not limited to the following: Desired Brand: Arthrex Brand Name or Equal Salient Characteristics: Must be capable of treating the following: Used specifically to clean the ligament residue and prepare for the reconstruction of the ligaments for arthroscopic surgeries. Must be capable of performing or have the following: Multifunction buttons Suction opposite from button controls Must meet the following: Hand-Control Shaver Handpieces The Period of Performance for this requirement is Four (4) months, beginning at date of award. BASED ON THE RESPONSES TO THIS SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE, THIS REQUIREMENT MAY BE SET-ASIDE FOR SMALL BUSINESSES OR PROCURED THROUGH FULL AND OPEN COMPETITION, and multiple awards MAY be made.
