These chairs will support clinical operations in the Digestive Disease and Pulmonary Sections of the Medicine and Specialty Care service lines. BACKGROUND: The James A. Haley Veterans Hospital (JAHVH) provides patient care for Veterans in the Gastroenterology and Bronchoscopy procedure suites, requiring safe and efficient transport between pre-operative, post-operative, and procedure rooms. Procedure chairs are essential for this process, as they allow for patient positioning adjustments necessary to perform a variety of medical procedures. Currently, the Gastroenterology and Bronchoscopy sections rely on outdated and frequently malfunctioning procedure chairs, which compromise reliability and efficiency.
