Responses to this Sources Sought notice will be utilized by the Government to make appropriate acquisition decisions. SOW GENERAL INFORMATION (Paste Technical/salient characteristics/partnumber/ requirement) Flowtron ACS 900 or Equal domestic or nondomestic end item product The VA needs equipment Intermittent Pneumatic Compression (IPC) active compression tubing system, portable hospital device to improve hospitalized high risk patient outcomes using mechanical prophylaxis to record patient treatment for Venous thromboembolism (VTE), Deep Vein Thrombosis (DVT) and Pulmonary Embolism (PE) prevention. The smart pump pneumatic pump and tubing that inflates air into limb garments smart adaptive system, recording, tracking use and noncompliance, that can monitor patient from multiple locations foot, calf, leg to improve patient outcomes. IPC as a therapy with has fewer side effects than drug intervention and is successful non invasive treatment of blood clots in leg veins.
