The increased testing is for the VA North Texas Healthcare System, Pathology & Laboratory Medicine Service, 4550 S. Lancaster Rd., Dallas, TX 75216. Items Description 3025CX 4025CX ACCESS Hybritech free PSA 3025CY 4025CY Access Hybritech free PSA Calibrator 3025CZ 4025VZ Access Hybritech free PSA Quality Control 3025DA 4025DA Access Hybritech p2PSA 3025DB 4025DB Access Hybritech p2PSA Calibrators 3025DC 4025DC Access Hybritech p2PSA Quality Control 3026BF 4026BF Access Hybritech Free PSA 3026BG 4026BG Access Hybritech p2PSA The modification will be made by a pricing agreement with Beckman Coulter, based upon pricing from previous contracts and VA NAC FSS schedule pricing. The requesting activity states due to new VA initiatives for prostate health, the items need to be added to the BPA. This notice is not to be considered a request for quotations or proposals. A modification or new contract award will not be awarded based on an offer received in response to this notice; however, all responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal or quotation, which shall be considered by the agency. Proposals or offers received will be used to determine if a comparable source is available and more advantageous to the government. If no affirmative written response is received within seven (7) days from the publication of this notice, a modification will be issued to Beckman Coulter, without any further notice. The anticipated statutory authority permitting other than full and open competition for the requirement is 41 U.S.C. 3304(a)(1), as implemented by FAR 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services will Satisfy Agency Needs.
