7 SFS ARMORY EQUIPMENT RELOCATION

1. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for a commercial service prepared in accordance with the format in FAR 12.6 and 52.212-1, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; this is a Request for Quote (RFQ) and a written solicitation will not be issued.

2. SITE VISIT:  An optional site visit will be scheduled at the following location:

   425 Third Street, Bldg 7232

   Dyess AFB, TX 79607

   A site visit date is scheduled for 29 July 2025 at 01:30 p.m. CDT Contractors will meet at the Dyess Visitor Center at 01:00 p.m. CDT to gain base access.

   Interested contractors should verify their availability for a site visit with TSgt Trevor Finch, trever.finch.1@us.af.mil and TSgt Rey Anthony Imperial, rey_anthony.imperial@us.af.mil. Attendees must RSVP with the same contact.  If the offeror does not have existing base access, an escort will be provided.

   The Contractor shall be prepared, at the pre-proposal site visit, to gather all physical information needed to provide the Government an accurate quote. The Contractor shall contract the Contracting Officer if any discrepancies are found.

3. Description of Work.  The contractor shall provide all necessary labor, personnel, supervision, management, tools, equipment, transportation, materials, and any other items necessary for breakdown, relocation and installation of the high-density mobile shelving system along with 76 Universal Weapons Racks, rails, floor and ramp (includes 20 static Universal Weapons Racks not on mobile system) at Bldg. 4201 7SFS on Dyess, AFB. This project is to move current mobile shelving and universal weapons racks, rails, floor, and ramp at Bldg. 4201 to Bldg. 7232 (1st floor). In accordance with this performance work statement, any attached appendices, manufacturer standards, applicable US laws, commercial standards and business practices will be attached. This work is needed for multiple reasons as the armory at Bldg. 4201 is scheduled to be demolished in FY 2025. Due to this the relocation of the armory needs to be moved over to Bldg. 7232.
